Site Supervisor - Construction
Responsibilities:
Daily Site Management: Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Direct construction workers and subcontractors, assign tasks, and ensure all site activities adhere to the project timeline and specifications.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce and ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and industry regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards. Ensure the proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety procedures at all times.
Quality Control: Monitor and inspect construction work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications. Verify that materials and workmanship are consistent with project requirements. Address any discrepancies promptly and work with the team to resolve issues.
Coordination & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for all project-related matters. Coordinate activities between various teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders on site progress, issues, and needs.
Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify challenges that may arise on-site, such as delays, material shortages, or safety concerns. Proactively develop solutions to resolve problems quickly and effectively, keeping the project on track.
Resource Management: Ensure adequate resources (manpower, materials, equipment) are available to maintain the schedule. Monitor the use of materials and equipment to avoid delays or shortages.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, safety inspections, material usage, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager regarding any changes, delays, or issues on-site.
Qualifications, Attributes & Skills:
Bilingual is preferred
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Ability to manage resources, monitor budgets, and ensure project timelines are met.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
