Perched atop a hill in the Hollywood area just outside of bustling downtown Los Angeles, this contemporary residential unit boasts an open interior concept and is comprised of two separate stand-alone structures. The primary owner space is a two-story design with a horizontal blade structure that acts as a passive shading device system while also serving as a decorative element and leading to the master bedroom on the second story. The guest house is completely separate from the main space and is located perpendicular to it, creating a private backyard space for family gatherings centered around the pool.
